A Writer's Library
If you’re coming here from TGE’s Facebook page, you already know my opinion on what makes a writer: talent and tons of practice. It takes a journey of growth not only as a storyteller but as a human being. The books I will be recommending here contain a wealth of knowledge on the history of writing and print, the evolution of language and folk tales, as well as the art versus craft, the publishing industry, creativity, and the business of being a writer. It is a carefully curated list of only amazing books on these subjects – and more – meant to, first of all, save you the time trawling through a sea of otherwise uninspiring, cookie-cutter content, and secondly, more importantly: help you discover things about the world you never knew you wanted to learn.

This library is for authors of all ilk and genre affiliation, whether they be bookworms who read voraciously or book dragons who hoard books like treasures that they may never read. Basically - anyone who cherishes great writing.

Some of the books may be low in stock in paperback, but you can usually still get the ebook, or there may be an older version available. Wherever possible, I provide links to other bookstores or the publisher’s website. The collection is small at the moment but I’ll be adding more great reads very soon so remember to come back regularly. Happy raiding!
